Arrived at about 4:30 pm and there were about 6-8 other folks fishing down river of where I had been. Most looked to be focused on a deeper pocket of water that there just wasn't enough room for another pole to fish in. So I went slightly up river of the boat launch. Attempted the pink squid jig with shrimp oil as well as a medium sized pink spoon. I didn't have luck with either. I stayed for about an hour at which point there had to be at least a dozen more folks that had arrived to try and fish this location.

I am still trying to figure all of this out, but thus far I have not had much luck getting the fish to bite. Hope these few details help someone dial in on what, when and how to get them to bite.
