9/3/2017 7:53:15 PMcutthroat- you could have kept it- probably should have with all that blood but yes it's a cutty- look at some of the reports for kokanee on here to see what a kokanee looks like and you'll see quite a difference. Nice fish though!

9/3/2017 8:21:46 PMFish in the pic is a cutthroat. At the pay station there is a board with picture of a cutthroat and a kokanee. There is a big difference. Check it out. Lots of good info on NWFR re cutties on Lk Sammamish. Fish are probably about 45 feet. Green Wedding ring about 14 inches behind a 4x flasher and worm chunk is a good setup to start with. Look at the reports and see where the hotspots are. Lots of nice fish in this lake.

9/5/2017 9:28:21 AMThe fish you caught is a cutthroat trout. If you go to the Washington department of fish and wildlife website (www.wdfw.wa.gov) you can look up cutthroat and kokanee to view the differences.
