9/8/2017 4:39:09 PMWell the gill nets didn't have a big impact today. My buddy and I started fishing about 7:15 and got 4 marked and one wild and done by 8:05. Just inside the MA 10 border. After we got our 4, we moved in closer to get out of the fleet, just sat there bobbing in the water, drank a few beers, smoked a couple of nice cigars and watched other guys get fish. We even had two thunder boomers. Didn't seem to make much dif what you were using or how deep you had the gear. Best local Coho fishing I've had since 2014. More boats, yesterday I counted 52 boats and this morning over 100. This weekend will be a circus. More furbags around but they didn't bother us.
