Managed a four solid takedown/hookup morning going after Coho. Started at Kingston trolling East across to the Edmonds side where the mass of humanity was working the area over. Started out using hoochies/herring strips but did not get any action, switched to the reliable Luhr-Jensen 3 1/2" Chrome/Green Stripe Spoon behind the Gibbs Flasher. The water depth was 500+ so the FF was useless, dropped the gear to 27 FT, kicked up the speed and from 9-10 AM I had 4 solid takedowns which got me 2 nice legal Coho. One was 24"/6 LBS the other was 27"/8 LBS. The other two hookups threw the hook. Leader length is 42" but the speed seemed to get things going as well as the shallow trolling depth.
