9/10/2017 1:15:02 PMWithout a doubt! These fish were hanging up against the north edge of the channel-- feeding on craws I believe. I was pretty stoked. And I just realized my wording might have been misinterpreted; it took me fifteen minutes until I landed the first 5-pounder. The other three I caught over the course of the next hour and a half.

9/10/2017 7:17:54 PMHe was just under 19" nose to tail. I didn't measure girth, but it was definitely a well-fed fish. I'd estimate it to have been 4" at the widest.

9/11/2017 9:15:33 AMThey were just on the edge of the current but they ran into the current once hooked. The channel edges there drop off pretty sharp so these guys were hugging the wall is my guess.
