After processing my salmon from the Samish I hooked up and ran up to Clear for a couple quick hours of bass fishing.

Should have listened to the reports and went to Big Lake or McMurray. I got dinks.

Located five different schools of perch but couldn't get a largemouth to bite. The wind made it difficult to stay on the schools and even more difficult to make a decent presentation near or around them where the largies like to stage. All my bites came on a Senko near pilings in deeper water and they were smaaaall fish. The cranks, jigs, flipping and my newly appointed "Sambo rig" all blanked.

Senko has been my go to bait the last couple times out. Fished Flowing and Roesiger the and found Bass under docks near deeper water. Nothing huge but most were between 1-1/2 and 3-1/2 lbs.
Tight lines brother!

Clear blanked us last time and when we hit Flowing last week I picked up one dink on a crank. Not a very impressive record lately. Time to change things up...off to Tapps in the morning to look for a Tiger.
