I have always wanted to fish wiser and fazon. After reading recent reports (mainly yours 8theB8) I pulled the trigger on fazon and I needed to hit it before it closed anyways. According to how the rating system is worded I had just an average day, but in my eyes it was awesome. The water was incredibly muddy, like as your swimming your lure back you can see the mud moving in the water. It was crazy. I have never been here so I just headed left from the launch and planned on just working the whole thing. I ended up having to leave about 2 hours in so I kind of rushed it towards the end which is unfortunate. I didn't have any action for probably the first hour. Throwing things from a chatterbait/spinnerbait to a senko and flipping. Both a half ounce and 1 ounce weight. Finally about half way around the lake I flip the 1 ounce craw in a little cove and I feel a slight tick, the slightest tick. I set the hook and is just chaos, I love it. Just massive splashes and pure power. I'm trying to keep leverage and get her away from all the reeds and cover and I finally do. Now I'm battling in open water and she's just digging. It was so fun. I finally lip her and she goes 6.4lbs. my first ever fish here, so I'm a fan. I tried to get a decent picture. That's the only thing i hate about fishing on my own. Of course I let her go to get bigger. I keep going getting I think 3 more small ones, but then I had to head out. A pretty cool looking little lake.
