Decided to hit Lake Stevens as it has been nearly 2 months since I fished it. Started fishing at 8:45 am and it was slow at first until around 10 am when the bite came on. God blessed with 7 hookups and boated 6. Released the first 2 kokes as they were on the smaller side and next years fish. Put 4 kokes in the box for dinner. Used the Elgin Fishing God's Tooth kokanee trolling rigs available at Reli lures. All fish caught on the 50/50 gold and 50/50 blue with the Sam Baird orange corn recipe. Started off at 50' down with 25' setbacks and one rod with 10" leader and other with 13". Both setups worked well. The small kokes were caught at 50' so worked 60' - 70' and caught the larger ones. Two of the kokes in the box were bright fish and two were gray. The gray ones are still very good eating. (The ice changes the color of the fish to marbled when they turn gray).
The video below shows some of the action for the day and wishing all tight lines!
