Had a decent morning at Stevens once again fishing for Kokanee and not bad for a one man show! Started fishing smack dab in the middle of the lake, using ArrowFlash Dodgers with one rigged with a Reli Lures Diamond Flash Spinner and the other was rigged with the Reli Lures Kokanee trolling fly in Cottan Candy running it right out of the packed, rigged. Running anywhere between 12-14" leaders tipped with Orange corn and also dipped in super dipping sauce Krill/Anise. Started out by fishing 30-40 feet. With 20-50 foot setbacks. It didn't take long for a nice fish to slam that fly at 30 feet. Within 2 mins the first one was in the boat a buetifull 15 inch spawner. Was getting consistent action from 30-40 then all of a sudden it just died off. Then decided to go 60 feet on the rigger, didn't have any confidence at all hooking a fish at that depth. Not a minute goes by and the rod starts bouncing, I was completely shocked! Brought the other rod down to 60 feet and bam, double. By this time I switched everying to flies and hooked around 12 fish and landed 7 in 3 hours! Fishing is going to get even better the closer we get to November! Tight lines everybody
