Fished Long on monday night, no boat traffic, what a great evening! Flylined whole nightcrawlers amongst the trees on the upper end of the lake, cast them, let them sink and watch your line closely it will start to swim off, set the hook, it's really easy to catch quality bass on this lake, even got a friend his first bass. We caught and released bass all evening, the largest was around 3 pounds, most were 1-2 lbs, also got a couple of squawfish, practiced catch and release (with a headache) and fed the osprey. Take your kids to Long, you will surely get them hooked on fishing.
