We fished Possession Bar on Friday and Saturday. To say we had fun is an understatement!! This might sound like a total bs fishing story but I dont think we went longer than 10 minutes without having some kind of fish on. Lots of shakers but also an amazing number of almost keepers and just barely keepers. Probably 15 or 20 in the almost category and another 10 in the just barely keeper category. We were looking for a big one and it never happened. That is the way it goes. If the limit is one you might as well go for the gold right!!?? We had a blast.

Looks like most areas are shutting down effective Monday. As strange as it may sound I support the closure. Give those almost keepers another couple months to grow and we could see a "lights out, shut the front door" fishery for the first time in years. I hope.
