The Pandemonium went in the water at Lincoln just before 10. We motored down past Sterling Point, and started putting out lines along the south/southeast shorline. The first hit came almost immediately, but didn't stay on the hook. Eventually we had 6 lines out, 2 on downriggers, the rest on leaded line most of the time. We focused on points and the mouths of bays and the fish were biting steadily all day, most between 15 and 25 feet. Flies took several (orange/black and perch Kekedas caught the bigger fish) as well as bladed hoochies, Kokabow spinners and a Rapala. They didn't seem particularly fussy about the lure or color. Only one wild rainbow caught and quickly released, with one stray Kokanee and 15 fat rainbows coming home, despite quite a few short strikes and fish spitting the hook on the way in. Beautiful day, rigged for rain, but the sun stayed out all day.
