I haven't had my boat out in awhile and I decided to call my good buddy Lonzo to see if he wanted to join me for a day of fishing on Riffe lake. Of course he is always up for a day on the water. We headed to the Mossyrock launch ramp just after 10 this morning. Note the water is low and the dock is out of the water so you have to lunch and beach your boat. If you are not great at backing up a trailer I would probably hold off until the lake rises. We found ourselves to be the only boat on the lake fishing today which was pretty darn awesome. I usually fish at the north end of the lake, but with the wind blowing we decided to head down toward the dam and battle the wind waves! We trolled at 10-20 feet deep and caught easy limits. The fish were smaller then I am used to catching at Riffe but still fund to reel in! Lonzo managed to boat one nice one. We caught all our fish and rapala style lures in Green, Gold, chrome/blue.
