Fished this morning for just over an hour. Saw 1 fish caught and 2 or 3 seals. I've only gotten one this year and have been up ever weekend in November. I've never seen it this dead.

My brother runs the hatchery for the school. He said that they are way behind on egg take this year. WDFW will be visiting the hatchery next week. Either the run is way off estimate or just very late. Don't be surprised if they close it next week from what he told me.

Seems Like they should close it unless they start showing up in huge numbers. It's usually at the peak or dying down this time in November

Some people or many are saying theyve seen muliple days of up to seven boats netting fish at the opening whay else could it be? This needs to be checked anc monitored. I see 12 percent of what adukts they had same time in 2016.

Good luck with that.... You all know my stance on the TRIBES......I seriously would have thought the run was going to pick up considering there was 1300+ at the hatchery last week, this doesn't surprise me that the tribes would be netting the bay in front of the mouth.... They haven't gotten any real numbers from the nooksack as there only two days of subsistence fishing for chums the 19th and the 20th per WDFW but then again they may have changed it... Ill ask phil for more info......
