I'm going to just make this short and sweet a few buddies and I fished banks for walleye fri thru sun and all I can say is we killed them smallest fish probably 3lbs but almost all of our 25 to 30 walleye we got were 5 to 6lbs and 1 whooping fish over 10lbs we also got 7 small mouth around 4lbs but all fish were fat as can be we also fished Rufus and picked up some trout 2 walleye and a burbot but mainly stayed on banks and sorry but no I won't say the exact gear or spot we fished but Sat morning we nailed 13 walleye in 2 hrs in one spot we had to release a ton of walleye due to the only one fish over 22 inches anyways great trip can't wait for the next trip

I have a difficult time with this report. Not sure if the rest of the readers do but the relative sizes shown don't support the report and when I see reports like this I shy away from taking them seriously. Sorry haverman83, no offense.

Report looks good to me. Looks like a nice stringer of wallys.
Haverman83, I'm not sure if that was you I saw on Saturday but I'm guessing it was. We were there in a White Lund with a red Lund logo on the side. Your location is safe with me. Sounds like you had a great trip. Congrats on finding a nice bunch of fish.

To AJ dad I don't remember seeing a white lund but we were on the north end of lake some fish were caught at night and some in the morning the day fishing was a lot slower then morning or night it took a long time for fish to move into the shallows at night it wasn't till 11pm till we saw fish up next to shore and to sno king i dont even know what ur talking about when it comes to the sizes of fish the ones in the pic are 3 fish over 22 inches and the others are 20 to 21 inches which is around a 5lb fish the weight might be a bit more then normal considering all the walleye we clean had 3 to 5 trout in there stomachs

YA, I think that was you we talked to briefly. Anyway, I say don't feel obligated to share intimate details on where, with what, and how deep. Over the years I have given very detailed reports on water temps, depths, structure, baits used and types of retrieves I use to catch fish. Still, I get emails from people asking me "Exactly" where I caught the fish I posted about. I like to share techniques with people and watch them as they learn to catch the same species of fish I go after. On the down side, when they see you on a body of water and do a U Turn, The following weekend you see them fishing in one of your favorite spots. Then the next weekend, you see them fishing in one of your spots and they're sitting next to two boats full of their buddies. That's happened more than once to me. Nice fish and good luck out there.

Nice walleye, Looks like the family and I should have tried camping at Banks instead of the Potholes.

I understand not giving out the spot/depth/etc....but gear? Really? Anyways, nice fish!! They definitely look like fatties! I wish we had them on the west side...

I don't fish for walleye. Keep the specific location a secret, to yourself. The lake is a huge one and the fish move. But keeping the tactics and tackle to yourself, I don't get. These can be used on any walleye lake (with varying success). Just another tool in the arsenal. I owe a lot to the fishermen who have taught me their techniques and tactics, and I do like wise. We have all benefited from the help of others. Good job, fish look great!

11 PM, the end of November? You guys are way too tough for me. Congrats, you deserve every fish you can catch at that time.

Sorry didn't take any pics of the trout in the belly but they were 3 to 5inch trout and if u ever fish for walleye u know it takes years to figure out how to fish for them well quality size walleye I will just say we used everything from throwing shad raps to swim baits to drop shot

Hey, nice harvest right there. I've never fished Banks, but if things go as planned I may be fishing there for the first time in a couple of weeks, but for lake white fish; you ever done that?

If ur gonna fish for whitefish just go to the north end then straight over from ramp by the large orange buoys just ask all the people doing it they usually jig for them with small jigs
