Well got to my spot late this morning, it was more of a “lets see how the river looks” trip. So I throw the rod in the truck, and leave my fishing bag, as I have an assortment of twitching jigs hanging from the visors in my truck. So I grabbed 4 jigs. All slightly different but same general pattern, purple black. I so I get to the water and find it is fairly good shape, high but the color was decent. I started with a 3/8th oz rock dancer, managed one nice Jack coho before the river claimed the first jig. Switched up to a 1/2 oz maribu jig same color pattern, was twitching a slow cadence when my line started streaking up river, I tried to keep up, she came out the water gave me a wink and sent my jig back to me. Beautiful bright fish. Great day to be on the water. Tight lines
