So I left “early” around 6:15 and make the 1.5 hour south to fish barrier dam. Got there about 7:45-8:00 after a couple pit stops. Started twitching jigs for the first hour or so, saw one smaller coho caught, decent color. Switched to floating eggs. No love. Went back to jigs at 9:35 and started twitching again. 9:45 POW hammer drops and the coho death throws begin. After a decent fight I get it close enough to see if it’s hatchery clipped or not. No fin, on the stringer she went. Nothing for the next hour so I packed up and hit the tilton on the way home, couple fire trucks but nothing worth keeping. Maybe 7 other people at barrier. Mostly plunking . Tight lines.
