it was another simply fantastic day on Lake sammamish thursday.

after a nice little sleep in, It was off to the launch to meet up with the client and a family friend of his, who happened to be a good buddy of mine. that family friend was none other than Lake Washington legend and fellow NWFR angler D.J. Butler! I have fished with D.J. many times and he is an absolute pleasure to have in the boat.

we had lines in the water at just after 9:30, and right away we were into the fish. we had multiple doubles and ended with some spectacular fish in the boat, with the largest one being a healthy 18" female, followed by some nice fish above 17" ranging down to 14"

the fish seem to be coming in pairs. we will have a short lull in the action then hit two together. the fish are just now starting to school up a bit, which is very nice.

after a splendid day of catching fish, we headed back to the launch to hop in the vehicles and warm up. while there, we ran into a few more NWFR members, Markin'Fish (i think thats the handle), Stephen Dorsey, and pacificangler1206. It was awesome to meet these guys and discuss how the day went. Rmrauscher and his buddy Pat were on the lake as well, it was an awesome day for NWFR on lake sammamish!

yet another wonderful day on the water complete.
