Freezing cold but no wind. Lots of guys with gear....no hookups that I saw. Water was running pretty fast. Fished the Carbon earlier in the morning and it was significantly higher. Also no hookups. Soup was good afterwards! I don't think I got my fly deep enough or slow enough even if there were any fish there.

I've been fishing alot up past 96th st bridge seeing some late coho/chum more this year then previous years...muckleshoot releases Steelhead smolts for the white river....logic dictates they have to go up the Puyallup into the confluence right lol I've heard in the past of ppl floating jigs or eggs in the confluence area down by mama's for them last year I hooked a nice dolly on a pink worm in that same area released of course...Tight lines

Thanks for info...gives me hope. Running out of time for the Puyallup. Didn't know the White river was a possible steelhead fishery. Heard about some trout and whitefish....have to give it a try. Good fishing to you!
