I fished by myself today for a couple hours in the morning. Vedder River. I Started out with a pink worm under a float at first light with my centerpin, made a dozen drifts or so then i changed up to a matter silver bcsteel spoon and on my 3rd swing got clobbered by this chrome bright wild doe (hen) steely. It jumped a dozen times and took some screaming runs up and down the run i was in. Really good fight on this fish. It was so full of piss and vinigar i could barely tail the thing. I only managed one crappy photo then it took off again and i decided that was enough and unhooked it. I did a little bushwacking after that and explored a few other runs with nothing to show for it so i left by 10 30.
