Anyway, another good meetup with a good person, via NWFR. We dropped down into the South end of Mercer Island. Set the first DR ball at 30', with a Needlefish and a chartreuse flasher. 30" leader. About 5 min. later it is fish on. Neil was driving and I was just standing by the rod so I picked it up. Boated an 18" Cutt. 2 lb. fish. About 10-15 min. later I was standing up front again, and just went to check the other rod, and in comes another smaller Cutt. at about 14". Sent him back down. I think we had one other drive-by while out there. There was a bit of wind at times, but the rain stayed away. Saw a few bass boats doing there thing, as well as maybe one other Cutt. angler.
The 2nd rod produced with a green mini hootchie, with the angled plastic thingy in front of it for a little increased action. (not a Wiggle-fin) but the duck bill looking thing. Rocky Mountain dodger up front. Fish both were at about 30' in 90' of water.
