Another great day down at ole Lake Sammamish. We started again at the boat launch and first trolled to the weather buoy. Had 2 fish by then and continued trolling toward Redmond. In 2 hours we had 6 fish, the biggest was 16" and nice and solid, probably at least a pound and a half.
We ended by trolling back towards the launch and in 5 hours we had 11 fish. Not to big but most in the 12-14" range. A beautiful day with almost no wind, partly cloudy and around 50 degrees. The water temperature was 44 degrees and we have switched to Old Goat lures. We seem to catch as many or more than anything else we have used and the fish still seem to be in the top 20 feet of water. Fish were scattered and no particular spot was hotter than any other. Still seeing a few bugs and a few birds but not like earlier in the year. Great day of catch and release fishing so we can get them again when they are even bigger. See you on the lake.
