Long time lurker, first time poster. I figure it's time for me to give back - the community here is very generous with their info, and I use and appreciate it.

Went out with a buddy on Lake Washington on Sunday. Launched out of Atlantic City dock at about 8:30 AM. Trolled wedding rings behind small flashers, one with the wire at 40 feet and one at 20 feet, set back about 50 feet, in about 100 feet of water. Absolutely gorgeous day - sunny and warm, at least inside the canopy. Trolled up and down the south side of Mercer Island at about 2 mph until about 11:00 AM before our first bite. After that, two more in the next couple hours; all landed, cleaned, and smoked. Yum. Red wedding ring caught all three, and all at about 20 feet. Chartreuse wedding ring got shut out. Water temp was 45 degrees IIRC.

Left my van lights on in the parking lot, so when we got back, battery was dead. A kind soul who was retrieving his boat let me borrow some cables. We jumped the van, did some laps around the parking lot, fetched the boat and headed out for the day. Good times.

Great report and thanks for sharing. The cutts in Lk Wash. are huge compared to Lk. Samms cutts. I will be out there soon. Tight lines.

Nice fish ! Thanks for your report. How far back is your wedding ring from the flasher typically ? Those fish look over 18 inches.

Wow, those are hogs. How many hours in the smoker? They look mouthwatering good.

Beautiful fish. Nice going. When he hit the docks the afternoon bite was always good.

Welcome aboard and great job! Man I know Sunday was amazing but spent the day trying to get my big motor started- darn! All fixed now but too busy with work but should be out in the next few weeks! Wave if you see me out there in the Tin cup with salmonbarry on the side and beautiful fish man! Glad it worked out with the battery too!

I had been planning all week to take the boat down to Coulon and have a relaxing day fishing for Cutthroat.
I figured the boat launch would be uncrowded, as no reports had been published regarding any success in weeks.
After reading these two reports on the great fishing at the lake now....and seeing all the clicks and responses......I have changed my mind. Too many people will now be at the launch and what I thought would be a relaxing day of fishing.
These reports are nice and all....but when millions of people live within a few miles of Lake Washington....and a really good report gets posted....it kind of ruins it for me.

I went down to the Atlantic City launch just to check it out. It was a sunny, dry, 55 degree Sunday afternoon, and there was one trailer in the parking lot, and no boats in sight. I wouldn't stay away from the lake based on just these reports. It doesn't look busy at all.
