Been waiting to try Rattlesnake again but was looking for a clam wind day....well today was that day. I started at 7:30 am.

Caught my first fish from my pontoon on this lake today and it was like 20 seconds after I put my line out. I then lost one a few minutes later and that was it for quite awhile mainly because I left the area were I got those strikes to explore the lake, mainly all the way done the left side were I caught some the bank back in Nov. of 2016.

When I returned to the launch are I worked the right side of the launch pretty much till I left at noon. I ended up with 10 little planters and 1 holder over about 13”. A UL Rapala did the most damage. I tried a host of lures and some different colored 1/8 Kastmasters also produced.

I was very happy to finally catch some fish at this lake after a few days of nothing.
