We had Fast Action this morning on lake Stevens! Lines were in the water by 6:45 am trolling the Purple penit area of the lake in 80-100' of water and I'd say 5 minutes in we already had 2 fish in the boat and we haven't even set up 4 rods yet! We were troilling deep. Fishing anywhere from 20-40 feet in water temperature that was 45 degrees. And doesn't make any sense but I couldn't argue with the results, we had 20+ fish both hooked and landed by 9:00am in 2 hours of fishing! The gear that worked today was our Reli Lures Diamond Flash Spinner in 50/50 Silver and UV Green both trolled 14-16 inches behind the arrow Flash dodgers. Our bottom rods were set up with our Reli Lures Kokanee trolling flies in colors purple fushia and cotton candy with 10-12 inch leaders behind Dick Nite dodgers. Finally tipped the hooks with our secret orange corn recipe with the Sam Baird corn base with 3 added ingredients I personally added which is now my top secret recipe. Then dipped in herring dipping sauce. 50 foot setbacks and trolling 20-40 feet on the downrigger. Trolling about 1.4-1.5 mph. What a great morning and couldn't ask for any better results! Tight lines everybody!
