Saturday was the type of walleye action I like to expect in March! I was able to do some scout fishing with great friends and we found a good number of fish in some new water! We harnessed in deeper water around 40-45 ft. Action was constant until the wind came up and boat control got a little tough. Speed was important and going as slow as possible was the key. As the water continues to warm, look for the walleye action to just get better. All our fish were 17-20 inches so we are seeing some bigger fish than this time last year.
