This report will be sweet and simple. Fished Lake Washington 4/24 from 8:30am to 5pm. There were actually 4 other boats out there around the S end of Mercer Island area when I arrived, so that was encouraging. Trolled the S end of the lake from Coulon Park to Mercer Island (South and West sides), up around North end of Seward Park and back down South again along the southern shore of Lake WA down to the Cedar River. Threw everything in the book at them and throughout the day and we even had 2 rods out since my buddy from work joined me. Not one single strike, drive by or hookup. Absolutely nothing! Saw very few marks or bait on the sonar.

It was fairly windy most of the day (10 to 17 knots) but warm and sunny. Basically we went for a pleasant relaxing boat ride Tuesday so I'm not complaining. Any day out on the water is a good day to me.

I don't know what happened since my trip out last week but it's rare not to at least get a couple of drive-bys in an outing on Lake WA. Only fish we saw on the sonar were ALL below the 100ft to 130ft level. At one time I even sent a lure down there and still nothing. I guess that's why its called fishing not catching. Will hit it again next week. Be safe out there. -G

Thanks for the report. I had the same luck this morning. Not a bite and threw many offering at them for 2.5 hours and decided to switch it up to bass fishing. We will get them next time.

I plan on an all day fishing event unless I limit out first. From leaving my home to get the boat hooked up at the storage yard and launch is a 2 hour ordeal. So going out for just a couple of hours is usually not in my game plan. It was a nice weather that day though.

You might want to try the north end of the big lake up toward Kenmore. My fishing partner and I have found decently consistent fishing for nice size Cutthroat off McAleer Creek which is an outflow from Lake Balinger.
