Fished from 730 am to 530 pm. It was cool to see fathers and their kids in the early morning catch their limits within an hour of fishing. The lake has plenty of trout to be landed. Once you get past the 11 inch school of planters and find the 14 inch plants you will notice these fish put up a great fight on the fly. Landed and released too many to count. Largest landed was 16 inches. Rain did not slow down the bite.

In the afternoon fished with Joe and gave him one of my flies and soon enough he was landing fish. Joe’s biggest fish came on a lure a friend of his gave him. The fish was over 16 inches when it jumped out of the water and threw the lure back to Joe. I know this lake is deep. One guy told me his fish finder said it was 300 feet deep. That was a news to me. I still believe is it closer to 90 feet. Overall a fantastic day on the lake.

Tight lines and may you say fish on!

You're right. I've been over the lake extensively, and see 98' on the sounder a lot with an occasional glimpse of 100'. There's nothing anywhere near 300'.
