Saw all the recent posts about this lake and had to check it out once I realized how close it was to my house, although that detour was quite the annoyance. Looked like an excellent bass lake with all the lillypads and other such cover but my buddies were in the mood for trout, so we trolled for about an hour with no luck. I suggested we go bassin and almost immediately my friend Ryan hooked into a nice 2-3lb largemouth. Alas, however, that would remain the only catch of the day as we spent another hour or two unsuccessful. Was a little bit tricky getting a 12ft boat into the water but we managed. Ill definitely be back for another round, next time ill purposely work the shoreline where im sure we could have been more successful with more time spent. Lake is beautiful and no one else was out.
