Another day on Langlois. It started out really slowly, but ended in typical Langlois style. The reliable old Olive Willy with a bright green dodger was once again the ticket. I made one pass from the cove to the area in front of the boat launch, and caught eight fish. I also tried the Thin Mint, which has normally been a decent producer, but today it was less effective. The total fish count for the evening was somewhere north of 20 fish again today.
There were lots of tiny little torpedoes that looked like steelhead plants, too. Somebody told me they planted a bunch on Monday.
I spent some time trying to troll deeper and target larger fish, but had only one really solid strike and no hookups.
All in all, the fishery is still going strong.
