My good buddy John called me on the 8th to see if I could join him in trolling Beehive, and I am glad I went! John and his grandson fished Beehive the previous Friday, 5/4/18, and John said the fishing was much better that day and they limited out faster, but we still did very well and got our limits - it just took longer, maybe 2.5 hours.

We used wedding rings with nitecrawlers on the hook and trolled pretty slowly. I let out a lot of line and ran my gear lower than the other two, and I had more bites than they did, but I don't know if it was due to depth, color (I was using chartreuse and they used pink) or just superior talent (LOL). I will say that we did much better than those folks shore fishing.

At any rate, the trout weren't huge, probably ranging in size from 10" or 11" up to about 14". We did catch what are presumably Tiger Trout (per the WDFW info for Beehive), but I've never caught Tigers before and the fish we caught look different than photos of Tiger Trout I found online.

I don't know how much longer Beehive will produce, but we had a good and productive trip.

I am no expert, but that looks more like a brown trout than a tiger trout. Glad to hear you had success.

All tiger trout vary just like there relative parents the brook and the brown trout. Colors, stripes, spots it all varies making it difficult to tell between a brook, a brown, or a tiger trout. But the fish caught were most definitely Tiger Trout.
