I was able to get my clients into another solid day of Columbia Gorge Springer fishing! This year has been a constant adjustment! This weekend we faced a huge spike in water and flood stage rivers! When the river rises that high, that fast, it really throws the fishing off! I'm thankful for clients that understand that my name isn't Jesus, its Jacob! We made the adjustments and had 6 solid hookups! Unfortunately, we had a few spit the hook! We killed two dandy springers and enjoyed a great day on the water! Trolling herring and prawn spinners with flashers was the ticket again. I have 2 more trips for Gorge Springers this year, then it is back to my local walleye/sturgeon fishery!
