It was nice to have a day of fishing with my old buddy Bob. We went through the gate right at 7:30 and were fishing in 10 min. The water is around 70 deg., the wind was a steady 10 mph. The skies were heavy overcast with some rain showers. The play boats were few but the waves were rough. It was too hard to hold the boat in position for both of us to fish correctly so I changed plans and decided to troll crank baits. { Wiggle Wart- perch and Timber tiger- Fire Tiger } I used the main motor so the troll was between 2.5 to 3 mph. We had the first smallie in the boat in 50 feet and the action was good all day. We boated 30 plus fish from dinks to 4 lbs. Fish were all suspended at 15 feet over 20 to 30 feet of water. Water level is down about 1.5 feet of full. A few more of the stumps are closer to the surface so watch the sonar a little closer.
