FISH ON!!
A bit rougher conditions then I normally like to fish in, wind speeds were in the 10MPH range and the water was white capping.
Got to my turn around point and let the wind take me back in, no fish for the first 30 minutes or so, then I get the perfect cast nestled just right alongside a dock and one of two turns on the reel and BAM, fish hits it like a ton of bricks, I've been fishing for smallmouth for years on LW but this fish had some major fight in them, did a nice 3FT aerial display and took line 3 times before letting me pull them from the water. Did a quick measure (21") and then let them back to wince they came from. Only fish of the day but I'll take a fish that sized over a bunch of small ones anytime.
