I will rate this lake because it took four hours before I put anything together!

Lake is green with algae and I hope it has carp or I spooked about two dozen MONSTERS in the pads :O

I worked the no wake zone for a while before running out into the main lake and turning left. Worked more pads and the shoreline with zero results. I decided I would just spinnerbait my way to open water and leave as I was hungry and tired from being up since 0230! Third cast I had a thump but it didn't stick, three casts after that whack! 1.8lber and Cowlitz County CHECK!

I'll be back to fish this sucker next March for sure! Just a note, you turn off the highway on Kerr Rd to get to the public launch and if you're pulling a trailer you better know what you're doing cause it's a tad tight in there with a full parking lot!

Yes those huge grass carb can really jump. They are fun to catch too.

Where is the wakeless zone there? Silver Lake is on my to fish list but I fish from a float tube so that section is where I’d like to fish.

From the WDFW launch on Kerr Rd east. It's posted no wake right out in front of the launch. It gets pounded though! Lot's of electric only fishermen pounding that area trying to stay out of the mess of ski boats!

8theB8 - I am following your County quest with interest. I never shot for number of counties but after you started posting those reports, I checked and I have 29 that would qualify.

29 Wow! I would have bet my eye teeth that you had traveled and fished this entire State! Thank you for following along, your conquests have inspired the majority of this adventure. I use your book on every trip and it has helped out a TON! Especially when there's zero cell phone reception! I can use your book and a gazetteer until I get back to service and it has been worth it's weight in gold. I gave you a shout out in my next YouTube video, should be posted up next week. B8
