I went and hit up a little creek outside of Shelton. After getting all of my tackle broke off for the better part of the day I decided that I was done. Well my buddy decided to continue fishing and kept hitting all these little cutts in the 7-8" range. I decided to tie up one last time and make a few casts. On my second cast into the pool I was in, something hit really hard bent my little Rod all the way over into a big C. About that time my buddy sarcastically asks me "what you got a salmon on?" I look at him and say," I'm not quite sure but I can't bring it to me." So I'm using a little 1000 real and I have my drag set to wear no matter how hard I reel I cannot bring this fish to me and it just trying to run down one of the levels of the step damn. After a 10-minute fight I pulled up this 4 lb Butte. Hell of a fight, funnest trout fishing I've ever had, going to go do it again this Saturday. Tight lines!!!
