Put in a Ft. Spokane around 5 am and ran down to the rock wall down stream from HH. Bite was on right a way with purple Apex on 3 colors of leaded line and a pink Hootchie (optimistic for a Kokanee) at 50 ft on the downrigger. had all the lures tipped with shoepeg. All planters, but one nice wild fish. Released all of them in good shape(no eagle food today).
Well, as in good a shape as can be expected since most of them were covered in lice.
Stayed there about an hour and then ran down south of Keller. The warmer and later in the morning, the more the bite slowed down.
Off the water about 1. It got hot.
A guy sure marks a lot of mystery fish that you can run your rigger weight through and never hook up. It would be nice to know what they are.
I know the lice don't hurt the meat, but I know I would be eating them by myself. LOL
