Had a memorable morning fishing MA10 with Ben Eggelesten. The pictures pretty much tell the story. Ben lost his rookie stripe today for sure.

This is Bens FIRST Chinook!!!!! Just a whisker under 22lbs. Talk about rookie luck. You could fish a lifetime in local Puget Sound waters and not catch one like this. Thought it was probably a native until we got it alongside the boat, couldn't believe it was a hatchery fish. The fish gods were smiling, there is no other way to explain it.

Ben fought it like a pro (the boat driver/net person did a pretty good job too) Definitely took teamwork to put this one in the box.
