Fished Thursday with my daughter and Friday with my buddy Emilio and my daughter. Thursday our 5 takedowns were vicious pulling the lure off the clip. Believe it or not but my daughter and I caught a 12# King on my Kokanee rod. It almost spooled me and it took us 25 minutes to get in. We had to chase it down with my kicker until it finally wore out. The entire time we were fighting it Blue Angels were flying over head. What an epic experience we will never forget. We ended up catching 2 Sockeye and one big Cutt that was about 20” and well over 2#’s.

Friday the Cutthroat action was better as we caught 4 cutts, one Sockeye, a Rainbow trout and a perch. I love multi species days and I love it more that my daughter likes to fish. She is a great netter and she would rather net than reel them in.

I gave the report a 5 because of the amazing King caught on light tackle.

All fish were caught between Mercer Island and the Cedar river on green wedding ring spinners. I tried about everything but this was the ticket.
