Got on the water at 6:45am with my brother. Very small lake, very shallow, but drops off quickly. lots of logs all around the lake and in the water. Anyway started trolling olive woolys. Nothing. Soon started bass fishing I boated the first fish, a small largemouth on a wacky rig. We kept fishing and catching very small largemouth. Fished the whole shoreline by 11:45. Switched over to trolling for trout. Caught some small trout at first, very skinny. Lost a big one at the boat my best guess Around 17 inches. Kept on fishing. My brother managed to catch 2 much thicker rainbows. Ended up keeping 6 rainbows and releasing 5 more. We kept 3 Kokanee. The Kokanee we caught in 3 different areas of the lake. Best colors were green and pink wedding rings. The best bite was right after the rain. There were 5 other boats out, all caught fish. Ended the evening bass fishing. Got off the water around 5:15. One of my new favorite lakes.
