Went out with a friend on the evening of of the 23rd. Was looking very promising. Fish were jumping all over. Couldn't connect with one. Tried spinners, jigs, spoons. Nothing. No one else was hooking up. Serious case of lock jaw.

Then went out evening of the 24th. Took my good luck charm, my 7 year old son. Completely different story from the day before. Almost no action on the surface. I was trolling with a spinner. Had one hook up. Silver jumped about 3 feet in the air and spit the hook. I did fish eggs with a float this day for about 30 minutes but didn't see any fish hitting the surface so didn't try it long. The difference in the activity between the 2 days was crazy.

Hope other people are having better luck out there.

I'll take a few hours on the water with friends and family over most things. But a fish would be nice too. :)
