Launched at Howard Amen Park at around 6:30 am. Picked up a couple Jacks in the first 30 minutes or so until sun up, and a few good hits but no hookups. Had no action on the river for about 3 hours and got rained on a little. Once the rain passed and the atmospheric pressure changed, it was like someone switched a light switch and the bite was on. We got hit about 2-3 times every single drift pass and could not keep them off. Picked up a few 10-20 pounders until one of the rods got absolutely hammered and almost ripped off the boat, this was a big one. My buddy fought this monster for about 7 minutes until it reached the surface and the entire boat started yelling in awe. The damn thing bent the net bringing it in the boat! The digital scale read in at 36 pounds for this massive buck. The bite died off again shortly and couldn't get any solid hookups. Ended the day with 5 adult chinook in the boat, can't complain!

We were using flashers with super bait setup filled with tuna anise, milking it off the bottom at a 2.4-2.6mph troll. Hot colors of the day was a seahawk blue/yellow, glow white with green.
