Went camping w/ some friends in deception pass. Couldn't sleep at night due to constant snoring of two of my friends. So decided to walk over to Cranberry lake. Followed a trail that lead toward some big rocky cliffs. Saw some people fishing using powerbait. I saw a fish jump in the shallows so I moved towards there. Threw in a 4" senko guessing it was a bass. Next thing I know, I saw a whirlpool around my senko and took off. Hooked it and had about a 2 minute fight which turned out to be at least a 20-22" brown trout. Later on went back with a female friend who had no idea on how to use a senko, she ended up catching a good 4 pound largemouth in the same area. After that we got lazy and didn't fish since. That day I learned how good senkos really were.
