Hit lake Cassidy this am before rain in forecast...hourly weather said wind 5mph and gusts to 10mph...arrived was foggy and calm...headed right of launch...got bite in first set of pads but he missed my minnow. Got first fish just past first dock nice 12" then second one about three casts later 11". Tried senko some, rat l trap, buzzbait it was calm, and chatter bait...got all fish on top water minnow in brown...fish were holding in back and in front of pads...slime was down but if you caught a pad your lure came back slimy or brown.. got two good hits by bird houses landed one lost one... Went around corner and got on more hit..was up to 3 fish 7 bites...far end on south sun out and got nice hit by dock fish on...hard fight lip him 15"...hung out by dock had wake come after my lure but he missed it. They wanted a slow approach today. Got three more bass in area 13", 12" and 10" with foot of line out...made it to half the lake just past trail dock...got 14 bass all 10"+ one dink and had 27 bites...had four on I lost and spooked five that had to be big 6lbs+. Lol...good day quit at 3pm started at 7:40am. Lots of action and fun fall day...left lake way I begin only boat on the water...did see three kayaks today.

All fish caught and released.
