I’d set up a trip with a good family friend of mine with his girlfriend and his son. Got down to the boat launch around 8:00am, lines in the water by 8:30am. We started off fishing with 4 rods. Fishing the Noth West side of the lake. The gear we were using Were Gods Tooth Dodgers (soon to come to the market) with 16-18 inch leaders with Diamond Flash Spinners tipped with a half nightcrawler dipped in herring and krill super dipping sauce. 5 mins in, hammered a nice 15 inch Cutty! But after that, it kind of slowed down with no fish at all for about 45mins. Started heading south towards the weather buoy and boom, double hook up both a 15-20 feet on the riggers. Then that was pretty consistent in that area all morning. Also decided to fish 3 rods. One pinch weight set up and 2 on each down rigger. We ended the with 15 beautiful Cutthroat ranging in size from 15-18 inches. 2 triples and 3 doubles for the trip! Had an awesome morning on Sammamish! And also made it a whole lot better fishing with friends and having good laughs while on the water! Can’t beat that! Also it was good seeing a good buddy of mine Paul Lewis of Fast Action Fishing Adventures out there. He also did very well limiting out his 2 clients with at least 15 hookups! Can’t wait to get back out but I think lake Stevens Kokanee is going to be my next trip. I’ll see if I can get those buggers to bite. Tight lines everybody!

Congrats on a terrific outing and thanks for giving the prototype God's Tooth dodgers some work! Getting much closer to making them available!
