Met up with TMBob on Rattlesnake early Sunday morning for some c&r RBT fun from the kayak. 43 and breezy when I arrived. Made launching in my Teva's a bit chilly, but got over that quick enough when the sun hit. Started trolling with a nickel/chartreuse spoon. Got some hits, but watched TMBob getting more hits on his Maglips, so borrowed one from him and proceeded to get consistent hits all around the lake. The wind would come and go, but was never too obnoxious, so fishing was fun. I'm used to trolling slower for trout, but that day the fish seemed to like the fast moving lure, so was usually paddling at a good clip and getting hits. Lost more than I landed, but sure had fun. Fished from 8a to noon. Towards the end I gave back the borrowed Maglip and put my spoon back on. Caught two more on the way back to the launch on that with more missed hits. The bite wasn't hot, but was consistent and had a great time.
