Left the Hobie at home and got the opportunity to fish with Isaiah from Reli Lures. We launched around 6:15 and had lines in the water shortly thereafter. We used kokanee rigged Elgin Fishing God's Tooth Spoons and a variety of Reli Lures spinners. Hot colors for the day were 50/50, 50/50 blue and orange. Also used a few custom God's Tooth Spoons that were very effective. Landed 19 for the day and had at least 10 that I counted get off on the way to the net, a few right at the net. That's kokanee fishing for you though!

Weather was a mixed bad, some rain, some wind, and some periods that weren't too bad. We caught fish from the surface down to about 25 feet. The majority came in the 10-20 foot range Speed varied due to the wind at times, but the sweet spot seemed to be around 1.2 - 1.4ish.

Got to play around with a slightly modified God's Tooth Dodger that should be available around the July/August timeframe. I really liked the change to the dodger (slight weight modification) that seemed to up the action even a bit more! Can't wait for these to come out!

The cooler weather lately has stalled the lake from becoming it's typical red-hot spring fishing. Water temps are still around 51-52 on the surface. A few more degrees and it will be go time!

Video shows quite a bit of the action from the day. Doubles and triples seemed to be the norm! We really hit our fish in spurts this day.

Thanks Russ. Was a fun time! The Dodger change is money! I tried sneaking off with it but Isaiah caught me :)

Nice catch Josh. I made the mistake to head out to Lake Sammamish yesterday to chase cutties. Got bounced around and skunked to boot. Guess I should have stuck with my plan to go to Stevens. Hoping to make it out this coming weekend. Maybe see you out there. I'll be in the red Hewescraft with the diamond plate bow. Tight lines.
