Went fishing yesterday 4-18 at Lake Roosevelt. Fished from shore. First bite came after 2 hours, didn't get to the pole in time so I just left it. Bit again in 15 and again I just left it. 15 minutes later, on third hit it hooked itself. Patience pays off! 40 minutes later I hooked a Native that had to be released. Thesame fish is pictured twice with different backgrounds, one on a rock and then on the grass. The keeper was 21 1/4 inches and the native was about the same. While I was fishing an Osprey landed on the beach, picked up a twig for the nest and flew off. A Loon fished out in front of me for some time. Didn't see it get a fish! They have a pretty call! What a super day! Started out very windy, then when the wind died, it sprinkled rain for half an hour before turning very pleasant.
