Day 3 Report #1 - this is more of a 'life report' than it is a fishing report but gonna try it anyway and see if it's accepted. So, we went Bass fishing out in the dunes today. After fishing half the day I intentionally acted a bit lost and low and behold we ended up at the falls with a lunch I'd hidden away on the boat. OK, guys out there, If your Wife, Girlfriend, Significant Other happens to be with you at Potholes why not surprise them with a visit to the falls and lunch among the cattails serenaded by the red-winged blackbirds and visits from the other critters that live out among the dunes. I can almost guarantee you won't regret the effort. It's not easy to find and requires careful navigation but well worth it. Wouldn't recommend it in low water or with a deep draft boat or IO. Best done with a kicker or electric for some of the shallows.
