Decided to hit one of my favorite opening day lakes, Storm. Upon arrival, good to see a number of folks already out on the water. Sat in the truck waiting for the rain to stop about 25 minutes then proceeded to launch. The early morning bite seemed a bit slow but eventually headed to the opposite end of the lake and anchored up as the wind really started to get challenging. Used Elgin Fishing God's Tooth spoons with the hammered copper, hammered nickel, and yellow top being the most productive patterns set on fast action. Mainly casted and retrieved with a little twitching and no additional weight to get things going. In the end, God blessed with 45 fish which were safely returned to fight another day!
